MHH
The
Hanover Medical School - MHH comprises 18 medical centres.
Patients from all of Germany and from abroad come to the MHH.
Hanover Medical School is renowned both nationally and internationally for
excellence in many fields of patient care. Pioneering work has been done here
in the fields of transplant medicine and cochlear implants, for which the MHH
is recognised world-wide as one of the leading centres.
Besides the clinical excellence the MHH is also engaged in a wide field of
developmental and basic biomedical research such as
- Infection, immunity and inflammation
- Transplants and stem cell research
- Biomedical technology and implants
- Public health and healthcare systems
International relations have always played an important role at the MHH.
Students, scientists and physicians from other countries are eager to come
to the Hannover Medical School for study, research, or employment. Doctoral
candidates and scientists from all over the world are involved in a wide variety
of research projects at the MHH, where they are very welcome.
